The International Congress Infonor-Chile, is the most important academic/business event of computing engineering and informatics of the north of Chile.

INFONOR-CHILE is organised by five universities members of the Council of Rectors of the Northern of Chile. Its 2016 version, is organised by Universidad de Atacama, in the city of Copiapo.
Copiapo is located about 806 kilometers north of Santiago Chile, in the valley of the same name and is the capital of the region of Atacama. Originally The town was christened San Francisco de la Selva de Copiapo or Saint Francis of the Jungle of Copiapo, due to its lush vegetation, the town is surrounded by the Atacama Desert and is situated in a rich silver and copper mining district. Copiapo also owns natural attractions such as beaches, rock formations, desert landscapes, and after rain occurs the so-called “Desierto Florido” (July to November). Also it has paleontological and archeological attractions such as the park “the fingers” in Caldera or the famous route of the Inca.

PRESENTATION OF ARTICLES
Authors are invited to present articles reporting original results of scientific research in english, spanish or portuguese. The articles must be sent through the platform Easychair, here
Works presented will be examined and evaluated by a committee of international program (double review). The two best accepted and presented articles in Infonor-Chile 2016, will be published directly on the journal INGENIARE (indexed to Scielo Chile and Scopus).
